Challenges in TWS Earbud Battery Design

The internal space of TWS earbuds is extremely limited, which severely restricts battery capacity while having to power high-energy consumption features like long battery life and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Fast charging in such a confined and sealed environment easily generates heat, triggering potential safety hazards. Furthermore, the high-frequency charge-discharge pattern—charging whenever placed back into the case and used upon removal—accelerates battery aging. Most critically, because the battery cell is inserted directly into the user's ear canal, the design demands exceptionally high standards for heat dissipation and safety.
