The contradiction between ultra-thin design and high energy density

The internal space of laptops (especially ultrabooks and business laptops) is compressed to the extreme, while the power consumption of high-performance CPUs/GPUs and high-refresh-rate screens continues to increase, requiring batteries to achieve ultra-high energy density within an extremely limited thickness.

Heat dissipation and safety risks

High-load operation and high-power fast charging cause the battery and surrounding components to generate intense heat. Poor thermal management will not only accelerate the electrochemical aging of the battery, but may also trigger serious safety hazards such as thermal runaway.

Frequent charging/discharging and lifespan degradation

Business and mobile office scenarios have a strong demand for "quick top-ups," but long periods of high-power fast charging and high-frequency charging/discharging can easily accelerate the degradation of electrode materials, leading to a sharp reduction in battery lifespan.

Challenges in adapting irregularly shaped batteries

The internal motherboard and air duct structures of laptops are complex. Traditional regular rectangular batteries struggle to make efficient use of the remaining space, making it urgent to support customized structural solutions such as stepped, L-shaped, and multi-tab stacked designs.
