Achieving the optimal balance between cell energy density and overall vehicle lightweighting within limited frame space is the core difficulty in optimizing the user riding experience.
High Loads and Thermal Runaway Risks
When e-bikes encounter climbing, heavy loads, or frequent start-stops, the battery must continuously discharge high currents. This easily leads to severe internal heat generation, triggering safety hazards such as thermal runaway.
Frequent Charge-Discharge Cycles and Capacity Degradation
As a daily tool for commuting, e-bikes are charged almost every day. Frequent charge-discharge cycles easily accelerate cell aging, often leaving battery packs facing severe range reduction after just 1 to 2 years of use.
Tests from Environmental Conditions
During daily riding, vehicles endure long-term bumpy vibrations, rainstorms, water wading, and exposure to summer sun. These impose extremely rigorous challenges on the battery's mechanical structural strength, waterproof and dustproof sealing, and overall lifespan.
